Sofie Refer (b.1974) is a Danish designer who graduated from from The Danish Design School department of Product Design in 2003.
Sofie Refer's Bulb is in some ways the simplest of simple designs, a gorgeous piece of mouth blown glass that is fine in both form and function. Bulb won the Good Design Award 2001 at the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. If you want to make a really bold statement, check out Bulb's big brother, Mega Bulb, also by Sofie Refer.
